5 David Tenpas; Commentary and Photos

The first four photos are of my parents( Don and Barbara Tenpas ) house located at 141 Pasture road. My wife Dee Ann, son Devin and I drove from Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sept. 20 to help with the clean up. We brought a much needed generator, chain saw and elbow grease. It took us two days to remove all the insulation and duct work from under the house, what a dirty wet mess that was. Then we had to remove all the base boards and part of the dry wall to get the wall insulation out. They had 6 inches of water in their house. As you can see they to had to wash what they could with bleach water like so many others had to do. The only big tree that they lost was the Pecan tree. They lost 13 Leland cypress that ran along the fence.

The bottom set of six photos are of Beach Road and some of the damage that was done along there.
